We popped into the Public Market in Victoria to look around and found Roast. The menu looked interesting so we gave it a shot- we were blown away by the quality and quantity of the food. The staff were amazing and Dino, the chef, is a wonderful guy who chatted with us. If you’re in Victoria near the public market, you have to try Roast.

My top spot for a healthy brunch! I absolutely love this place — they always have fresh veggies and meat, generous portions, and Dino is amazing. I love stopping by to say hi and grabbing our favorite healthy Super Bowl with roasted chicken. They also have a great variety of options, and you can tell they really care about the quality of their ingredients. Hands down, the best place in Victoria for healthy salads! Highly recommend it to everyone!
The food served at the Uptown location for the Roast Sandwich Shop is delicious!! The female staff was very friendly and explained the menu. It would be great if there was a location in Sidney, it would do very well.
I only recently discovered this spot when I moved into the neighbourhood and I adore it! By far the best breakfast sandwich I've had in the city. Dino is charming and the woman at the till was lovely as well. I'm sad they'll be leaving the block in a few months, but happy to hear they'll be relocating not too far away! Thanks for the great food. You'll be seeing me regularly!
